Timber forests of the South-West: jarrah, karri, tingle & tuart
The following pictures show some of the large tree species of the lower South-West that were important for timber: jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata), karri (Eucalyptus diversicolor), tingle (Eucalyptus jacksonii) and tuart (Eucalyptus gomphocephala). Most were taken in the 1920s, some dating back to the 1890s.
